Two main aspects were considered in this project.

• On one hand, an analysis to understand how the canons of mobility in Europe are applied, and what has been the impact of the application of the Eurovignette Directive on transport.
• On the other hand, from a functional perspective, it was estimated what the impact of the application of the road user charge could cause on the client’s highways traffic in Spain: AUSOL, R4 and AP36.

Although most of the countries applying Eurovignette does it only on heavy vehicles (trucks) and Directive makes no mention either of light vehicles, the study considered the applicability to both categories of vehicles (heavy and light vehicles).
