SP surveys of rail access to Barcelona airport
Stated Preference (SP) surveys of the demand study to improve rail access to the airport of Barcelona.

The general purpose of the study was to analyze the potential demand for a new proposed shuttle between Barcelona and the airport terminal T1 in different scenarios and modal distribution of access to airport travelers.

Diadro was responsible for the design, monitoring and analysis of stated preferences (SP) surveys.

The choice of mode of transport to the airport is the combination of different variables such as travel time, frequency and the tariff paid on the various alternative modes.

With the results of the Stated Preference surveys discrete choice models were adjusted to calculate the different utility functions that allow finding a subjective value of the variables included in designs for different modes of transport.
