Rodovia dos Tamoios connects the town of Sao Jose dos Campos, in the Paraiba Valley, with Caraguatatuba, on the northern coast of Sao Paulo.

The main objectives of the study were:

• Determination of traffic and income for the concession, for each network configuration
• Estimation of traffic growth models from socioeconomic variables (GDP evolution, population, motorization, industry data, etc.)
• Assessing the impact of alternative routes that can be used to avoid paying toll.
• Assessing the impact of future infrastructures in the surrounding area that may affect the corridors’ traffic.
