Traffic Study of East and South Rodoanel of São Paulo
Demand study to estimate traffic of the future Concession of the East and South sections of Rodoanel of São Paulo.

Unlike other concessions from the state of São Paulo, this concession, object of our study, did not exist yet. Additionally, it had a multitude of possible alternative urban routes, which made it more difficult to estimate the potential demand.

A campaign of origin-destination surveys and traffic counts in different parts of São Paulo metropolitan area were designed, as well as surveys of the value of time to analyze the willingness to pay different kinds of tariffs.

A EMME road network and a demand model was created in order to incorporate both new data gathered and traffic information existing in São Paulo (Metro surveys of São Paulo).
