The proposed Poinciana Parkway project is a toll road about 10 miles long starting at the end of Marigold Avenue, Poinciana northeast corner, and ending at the intersection of County Road 54 and U.S. 17/US92. Initially the road is designed as a two lanes in each direction highway with controlled access in its final section and limited access in the proximity of the urban area of Poinciana. It is planned to install a toll plaza in the trunk that enables both electronic and manual transactions.
