Traffic Study Poinciana Parkway (Florida, USA)
Traffic evaluation of a proposed toll road throughout a neighbourhood Orange County, in Florida, USA.

The proposed Poinciana Parkway project is a toll road about 10 miles long starting at the end of Marigold Avenue, Poinciana northeast corner, and ending at the intersection of County Road 54 and U.S. 17/US92. Initially the road is designed as a two lanes in each direction highway with controlled access in its final section and limited access in the proximity of the urban area of ​​Poinciana. It is planned to install a toll plaza in the trunk that enables both electronic and manual transactions.

Diadro was hired by Globalvia to carry out the review and analysis of the information provided by the traffic consultants of the promoters.

Several demand cases were analyzed under different hypothesis of demand and suply, in order to use the traffic and revenue results to build financial models of the project.
